The Sensor - December 2020

Welcome to the last edition of The Sensor for the year. While 2020 was a challenging year, it is worthwhile to pause and reflect on all that humanity has achieved in the face of a global pandemic. Our collective response to COVID-19 was marked by innovation, community and resilience. With a vaccine on the very near horizon, we have shown just how quickly we can innovate in times of crisis and the critical role of science in getting the world back on its feet.

Seasons’ Greetings from the NSSN! For many of our readers, December is a time to step away from the office, lab or workshop and spend time with family and friends or even just with a good book on the beach. Like you, we are looking forward to 2021. The Sensor takes a break in January but will be in your inbox again in February 2021.
