NSSN to deliver the NSW Sensing Industry Connect event series
Co-hosted by the Sydney Knowledge Hub (SKH) and NSW Smart Sensing Network (NSSN), the NSW Sensing Industry Connect will take place at the University of Sydney Knowledge Hub on 5 March 2020.
Committed to strengthening the competitiveness of the NSW industry on a national and international level, the NSSN has created a space where companies can form valuable bonds.
Electronics Engineer at NSSN, Jimmy Tran said the NSW Sensing Industry Connect event series aim to build a community for local designers, manufacturers and solution providers to connect and share their experiences and network.
As an engineer, Tran understands the practicalities of building, designing and deploying smart sensors.
“The NSW Sensing Industry Connect is all about bringing the great thinkers and doers in the same room for positive conversations and idea-sharing,” said Tran.
“The event will see many leaders, innovators, and designers coming together to share stories and ideas over casual drinks, and create valuable bonds,” said Tran. “A network of thinkers and doers for a stronger NSW.”
“By bringing together a like-minded community, the NSSN is creating a place for smart sensing manufacturers and industry leaders to network, share ideas and collaborate.”
The guest speaker for the night is Professor Benjamin Eggleton, co-director at NSSN and director at Sydney Nano Institute.
The NSW Sensing Industry Connect series will be held regularly around the NSW state. To register for the first event in the NSW Sensing Connect series held at the University of Sydney Knowledge Hub on 5 March 2020, click here.
