Call for Expressions of Interest to join the NSSN Board

The New South Wales Smart Sensing Network (NSSN) brings together smart sensing expertise in academia, industry, and government to translate world-class research in smart sensing into compelling solutions that create value for the NSW economy, environment, and society. 

The NSSN is seeking expressions of interest for three vacancies on our Board for an initial term of two years. The Board approves strategy, reviews implementation plans and performance and advises on the national and international business context and environment, including industry sectors and markets.

We seek expressions of interest for three vacancies.

•       One member who will bring substantial expertise in smart sensing research & development

•       One member with expertise in commercialising smart sensors in industry

•       One member with expertise in public policy areas that are critical to smart sensing innovation.

Selection Process:

The Board will consider applicants against the objectives of the NSSN and the Board. We encourage applications from suitably qualified individuals that reflect the diversity of the NSW community. It is anticipated that successful applicants will be notified by Friday 18 June 2021 and attend the Board meeting scheduled for mid-July 2021.
