The Sensor - October 2023

Welcome to the October edition of The Sensor.

This month read about the idea and people behind the NSW Smart Sensing Network's bid to establish a Smart Sensing for Australian Resilience Cooperative Research Centre (CRC). This CRC is critical in enhancing Australia’s resilience in the face of climate change, natural disasters and evolving geopolitical tensions, and comes after deep engagement with partners in industry and government across both the defence and natural hazards spheres.

The NSSN also co-hosted a conference in Lismore with the Connectivity Innovation Network last week to help communities better prepare for floods.
