NSSN’s Medtech Research Theme Leader, Dr Amanda Hayes and COO Nicholas Haskins will be attending the Launch of UNSW new futures institutes. Look out for Amanda or Nick to discuss how the NSSN can help you navigate the future of smart sensing
The UNSW Ageing Futures Institute
The UNSW Cellular Genomics Futures Institute
The UNSW Digital Grid Futures Institute
The UNSW Materials & Manufacturing Futures Institute
These virtual Institutes form part of a bold new framework for addressing some of humanity’s most pressing challenges, through driving innovative interdisciplinary and cross-faculty approaches to research. They will combine an umbrella framework for broad interdisciplinary coverage across the University, with focal investment in research excellence initiatives through the SHARP program.
This week, we will be formally launching these inaugural UNSW Futures Institutes at an event that will allow UNSW staff, research colleagues, and potential external partners to find out more about their research plans. We will also be thanking our researchers who took part in highly competitive bids in the first round for UNSW Futures Institutes.
We would be delighted if you would join us to celebrate the launch of these Institutes and to meet with the Institute Directors to discuss how you could potentially collaborate with their teams to achieve their Institutes’ visions. If you have not already, please register for this event via the link below.
