2018 NSW Start-up Beijing Pitching Competition (Australia Site) is sponsored by Beijing Overseas Talent Centre and Zhongguancun Development Group and organized by the Representative office of Beijing Zhongguancun Science Park.
On July 31 (Tuesday), 13 contestants or teams refered by our partner universities and organizations will present their ideas to judges and audiences. Ultimately 6 candidates will be selected by the judge panel to attend the Grand Final in Beijing in September, to compete with teams from USA, UK, Japan and other countries. Our judge panel boasts an impressive line-up of local government official, university professor, venture capitalists, lawyers and entrepreneurs.
2018 is the second year for the event, while the last one had achieved great success and was highly valued by all participants. NSW Trade & Industry Minister, Niall Blair commented the competition as building the growing innovation ties between NSW and China. Mr. Blair said "It's a fantastic opportunity for these startups to experience all that Z Park has to offer as China's version of Silicon Valley. Beijing's high-tech park is an incubator for innovation in technology and they will be able to bring new knowledge and insights back to NSW".
The event will provide you an opportunity to listen to the innovative ideas of young entrepreneurs, to meet up with the aspiring investors, and to come across the bridge facilitating you to explore China’s market, so anyone interested is welcome!
