The launch of the NSW Active MedTech Community will be held in conjunction with Venture Cafe.

The agenda includes MedTech Hypotheticals session where experts in product development share what the critical success factors are for a typical active medical device. For this session, the case study will be a medical radiation dosimeter system. Other sessions will include a Women in Biomedical Engineering and a workshop on the technical aspects of regulatory compliance for Active Medical Devices.

The NSW Active MedTech Community is a forum for people involved in developing medical devices with electronics and software. 

The primary purpose of this community is to educate startups, original equipment manufacturers and MedTech service providers in all aspects of the product development process. Ultimately, we want to improve the poor success rate of innovation.
