A summit to discuss the ethical and responsible future use of artificial intelligence (AI) in government services.
About this Event
The NSW Government is a national leader in the government use of AI. We’re using it for diverse purposes like anticipating maintenance issues on transport infrastructure, for detecting and preventing sepsis in health patients, and identifying and protecting threatened species and plants.
The NSW Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit 2020 is an ideal opportunity to find out the latest on AI use by government and contribute to discussions on:
developments in AI use by government since the drafting of the AI Strategy
updated ways to responsibly use technology to improve customer services
key actions to build government maturity in AI.
The summit is one of the key actions under the AI Strategy released in August 2020. Other actions are to develop an AI assurance framework and determine future priority areas for the AI Strategy’s 12-month review.
