Event Details:
Collaborate Innovate 2024 is your chance to connect with key players across the entire R&D and innovation ecosystem – from funders to researchers to businesses. The event will commence with an address by the Minister for Industry and Science, Hon Ed Husic MP. It will feature a CSIRO side event, practical workshops, a session on funding with primary funding agencies, and a showcase of Australia’s national research infrastructure, all celebrating and showcasing Australia’s innovation capacity.
Presented by Cooperative Research Australia, Collaborate Innovate 2024 brings together the industry-research community to explore critical issues in research translation, utilisation and commercialisation, innovation and industrial transformation. The conference will celebrate the pivotal role of this community in driving Australia’s prosperity.
The theme for this year is Industry-Research Collaboration for a Thriving Australia, underpinned by two primary sub-themes: Innovation for our Net Zero Future and First Nations Innovation.
The event attracts around 400 delegates from the industry-research collaboration community. These delegates are drawn from universities and research institutions, R&D active businesses and industry organisations, and boundary-spanners such as CRCs and post-CRCs, Trailblazers, ARC industrial transformation centres, RDCs, and incubators. We are also expecting significant contingents from the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, Department of Education, CSIRO, and the Queensland State Government.
Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with leading minds in the industry-research community and to explore new pathways for innovation and collaboration.
