Call for EOIs to join the NSSN Board
The NSW Smart Sensing Network (NSSN) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals to join its Board.
The NSSN brings together smart sensing expertise in universities, industry, and government to translate world-class research in smart sensing into innovative solutions that create value for the economy, environment and society of NSW and beyond.
Established in 2016 by the Office of the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer, the NSSN is the first of the NSW Innovation Networks established to drive a culture of collaboration, translation and innovation across the State.
The network is a consortium of eight leading universities across NSW and the ACT, jointly headquartered at the University of Sydney and UNSW under the co-direction of two internationally recognised scientists, Professor Ben Eggleton and Professor Julien Epps.
The NSSN Board provides advice on the NSSN strategy, implementation plans and performance, and advises on the national and international business context in which the network operates.
The NSSN is seeking expressions of interest for two vacancies on our Board for an initial term of two years:
One member who will bring substantial expertise in smart sensing research & development
One member with expertise in public policy areas that are critical to smart sensing innovation.
